Golf Smash Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Golf Smash ("the game", package com.golfsmash.game) is made by Sean Heide ("we", "us"), an individual
developer. This policy explains what the game does with information about you.
What we collect
This version of the game collects no personal data. It does not ask you to create an account or sign in. It does not contain advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tools. It does not send any information about you or your device to us or to anyone else, and it does not read your contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera. It does not read your advertising ID or any other device identifier.
We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.
Data stored on your device
The game keeps a save file on your device so that your progress is still there next time you play. It holds things like your equipment and which items you own, your level and upgrades, the in-game currencies (tokens and gems), crates you have earned and when they unlock, game settings (haptics, volume, reduced motion), and a display name if one has been set (it is "Player" by default). This file stays on your device. We cannot see it.
When you finish a match, the game also writes a small match file on your device that records your shots and scores. It is only shared if you choose to send it to someone yourself. It can contain the display name above.
We have no way to read this data from your device, and it is not backed up by us. Your phone's own backup settings (for example Google or Apple backups) may copy app data; that is controlled by your device and the operating system provider, not by us.
Deleting the game deletes the save file and the match files with it.
Purchases and ads
This version has no in-app purchases and no ads. In-game currencies are earned by playing and have no real-world value.
Children
The game is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because the game collects no personal data, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete on our side; deleting the game from the device removes everything it stored.
Changes
If a future version adds features that collect data (for example ads, purchases, online leaderboards, cloud saves or usage statistics), we will update this policy before that version is released and describe exactly what is collected, why, and the choices you have. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
